No offense taken. For me the Christian symbolism and values within Harry Potter are a huge part of the appeal. Letting it creep in on the cake was supposed to be my way of gently pointing that out, particularly to one lady I met in the week who was horrified I could call myself a Christian and have a child named Hermione. (no, she hadn't read the books.)
Lee, thank you for the dove idea, particularly with the scroll. I love it! I'm now hunting for a good Dumbledore quote and new testament parallel to go with it.

I think for a Baptism a Dove would be much more appropriate than a
unicorn. As a unicorn is not mentioned in the bible anywhere. Just
my opinion but on such a Holy Occasion it might be better to set
aside the Harry Potter stuff. At least for the one day.
sherry (hoping this does not offend anyone but there are some places
Harry Potter does not belong and in a church for a childs baptism
into Gods family is one of them. I mean afterall would you consider
putting Spongebob square pants on the cake?
