I'm just venturing a guess, but maybe she meant she was reading Harry
Potter over the weekend, not specifically reading OotP.

I find it unusual that they aren't going with mainstream Hollywood
directors. On one hand it could just be daring movie making, on the
other, it could just be an attempt to get indie directors who will
work cheap.

I seriously doubt that there is enough of a manuscript available for
anyone but the publishers to evaluate. Although, I also expect that
JKR is getting close. She is pregnant again, but say it won't interfer
with the book. No matter how many nannies she can afford, a new baby
in the house WILL interfer. That makes me suspect she intends to have
the book done before she delivers. It may not be on the store shelves,
but I suspect the bulk of it will be in the hands of the publisher. I
just can't see anyway that having a new baby won't slow things down.

Just a thought.
