A while ago I posted the following:

Has anyone ever heard JKR talk about or get asked about T Rex (Marc
> Bolan)? (70s glam/mod). On an early T Rex lp there is a song
> called "Trelawney Lawn". His first single was called "The Wizard"

Swan.

One friendly person (thanks Sarah) responded that
Cho watched her... "silvery swan-like patronas soar around the room
of requirement"

I just noticed a bit more... the lyrics to Ride a White are
interesting 1) in the first verse about "ride it out like a bird"
says in the third line "Fly it all out like an eagle..." and could
be -- Buckbeak and S. Black and 2) in the third verse "catch a
bright star... place it on your fore head".

I bet JKR was a T Rex fan.

Ride a White Swan (T.Rex)

Ride it on out like a bird in the sky ways
Ride it on out like you were a bird
Fly it all out like an eagle in a sunbeam
Ride it on out like you were a bird

Wear a tall hat like a druid in the old days
Wear a tall hat and a tatooed gown
Ride a white swan like the people of the Beltane
Wear your hair long, babe you can't go wrong

Catch a bright star and a place it on your fore-head
Say a few spells and baby, there you go
Take a black cat and sit it on your shoulder
And in the morning you'll know all you know, oh

Wear a tall hat like a druid in the old days
Wear a tall hat and a tatooed gown
Ride a white swan like the people of the Beltane
Wear your hair long, babe you can't go wrong
