question about pre-ordering

I pre-ordered OotP from Amazon (UK) and it was delivered to my house 
on the morning of the release day at 7.30.  needless to say, once I 
was out of bed to answer the door (I think it was a Saturday) I went 
straight back, and was not seen by my family for the rest of the day, 
indeed the weekend!
