Ffred's sig. Always meant to ask what it means but never got around

* If you lived in the Potterverse, who would you be, and what
would you do for a living?

I'd be a happy me working at Fred and George's joke shop.

* What would you see in the Mirror of Erised?

My answer is the same as it was in our Halloween Mixer:

"A Kathy with no car troubles, no debt, and a basement that doesn't
flood living in a spider-free world."  I might also add, having a 
job I consider worthwhile for a change.  And I may soon get to cross 
off the debt-free *wish* as it's close to being reality.  Yay!


* What shape would a boggart take, if you chance upon one?

Serial Killers I used to see on America's Most Wanted when I was a 
little kid.  Watching that scared the living daylights out of me, 
and there's all sorts of residual fear from that.

* What happy memory will you rely upon, if you are to conjure
up a Patronus?

Being surrounded by so many good friends at my going away party when 
I quit my long-held job.

* What form might your Patronus take?

Heck if I know.

* What might your animagus form be?

Ditto.

* What gifts would you register for in Diagon Alley? Or would
it be Knockturn Alley? How about at Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes?

Gotta have the wand.  And maybe some fake ones, too.

* Times being what they are...what is your favorite flavor of
jam? What is your dearest ambition?

Strawberry jam.  To eat strawberry jam all day long. :-)

* Which of the HP books is your favorite?

Oh, gosh, it just keeps getting harder and harder with all these 
books she keeps writing.  I think I have to stick with PoA...but 
it's just slightly more favored than the others.

* Who is your favorite character?

Harry.  Also have a soft spot for Neville, Luna, and oddly, Peter.

* What do you hope will happen in Book 7?

We'll learn Snape is opportunistic and evil and has indeed turned 
back to the DE's with his UV and murder of Dumbledore.  And Percy 
will show some sense that I fully believed him capable of post-OoP. 
Petunia will *not* practice any late-in-life magic.  Harry will 
survive.

* What do you think will happen in Book 7?

We'll see Snape killed DD to ensure his own survival, he probably 
will do something to redeem himself, but Harry still will never 
forgive him.  Percy will never see the light.  Petunia will practice 
some late-in-life magic.  Harry will not survive.

* Given all the books whose titles are canon (see

read cover to cover *first*?

I just looked recently at my HPFGU history as I recently hit my two-
year mark.  I joined June 5, 2003.  David was my list elf.  A

It's not so much something I wish I'd never said, but something I 
don't hold with at all (but it was fun exploring), as I usually 
prefer a more straightforward reading of the books.  The possibility

I'll keep this the same as the Halloween Mixer answer:
I *love* chocolate so people are always surprised by how much I 
dislike chocolate ice cream and chocolate cake.
