Wow - That was really good! I might save that for some wallpaper!
As for all your previous comments about the Eragon and the Eldest,
Ditto! I highly recommend listening to the audio book as well.
Hearing it read gives it a lot more depth and you realize just how
talented Christopher Paolini is. I could still see the weaknesses in
the book that his youth lends (in Eragon) but to me it made the
stronger parts of the book just that much more powerful.
I was one of those who got the book early from Amazon and have only
delved into the first chapter - other matters unfortunately have
taken a front seat to reading this week and possibly into next week.
I am hoping to have a good sit down with the book and what I have
read so far I found it very easy to enter back into his world
without much trouble at all.
I have found a great respect for young adults fiction and now
regularly scan those shelves at the bookstore for good reads.
Recently I bagged Cornelia Funke's Inkheart, The Thief Lord, G.P.
Taylor's Shadowmancer and Jeanne Duprau's People of the Sparks and
the City of Ember. I plan on looking for the audio book of Eldest as
well.
