I tend to have a hard time thinking that JK Rowling would kill off Harry. I mean, this was originally intended as a children's series, and I don't think that it would send a good message to children not to fight for what you believe in and against something evil because you could die. To me, that means it ends on a look what happened, it's not worth it anyway note. Given the state of the world today, I don't think that's the message she wants to send. I do, however think that it's possible that either Ron or Hermione or both might not make it through. But I do think Harry will prevail. Or have a cliffhanger ending where there's the suspicion that Voldemort isn't really gone, opening the door for adult Harry Potter books, she Jo find that she's bored in five or ten years.
