Problems at the end of GoF!

Good plan.  I wonder why Lily didn't take Harry and escape.  Not too 
many mothers would stay and risk the death of their infant child, 
even if when desperate to save (or at least try to save) their 
spouse.  Yes, she would have wanted to help James - but why not get 
Harry to safety first?

So both Potter wands could also be intact.  I can't think of any good 
purpose for them, so they probably won't turn up in the books, but I 
think Harry would at least like to have them as mementos.  And in 
case his own wand gets broken or destroyed.
