"Peripherally related, but amusing.
The Texas (USA) Maritime Academy has just taken delivery of a new 
training ship named SIRIUS. I sent out a very routine notification to a 
few nautical mailing lists and have gotten a stream of Potter-related 
replies since!

Here are a couple of examples:
"i'll never forgive her for killing him..."
"...the washdown lockers all have Cleansweep brooms?"

In the grand scheme of 16th July, a fairly minor, but amusing note!
