As for inconsiderate friends, unless I had an ongoing emergency
that I NEEDED to answer the phone when it rang, I just let it ring.
Nothing on this earth says we actually have to answer them! (I hate
phones and feel we shouldn't be slaves to them)

Again Mil:

I think i did'nt express myself correctly (my english sometimes gets
a little rusty :P )... I meant my friends (Sandy and huband) came
over to visit me at home... as in dropped in just to say Hi... and
though I do love them very much and we always like to keep in close
touch... I just couldn't wait for them to leave, unfortunatly they
didn't... hehe... oh well

again me:
Great tip!... Thanks!

I have been dragging it to work and pulling it out when I eat lunch
or take a break. Also I broke down and got the audio CD and have it
in the car as I am driving to and from work.

Yet again me:
I just can't convince myself in bringing the book along with me... I
know that if I do, I'll end up reading the whole thing and won't get
any work done... I'd feel too guilty... The audio CD, I don't have..
but am seriously considering in buying it...

Me:
Thank you both, so much for your sympathy... hopefully I will finish
the book tonight and if something yet again comes up i guess I'll
just have to take my wand out and say: Reducto! :D

MIL-- Who also sends her best wishes and prayers for those in the UK.
