Neri:
This is probably because in Ch. 8, when Snape brings Lupin his potion,
he says "I made an entire cauldronful, if you need more" and Lupin
answeres "I should probably take some again tomorrow". All this
apparently takes place in the morning or around noon (not long after
Ron and Hermione leave for Hogsmeade in the morning) so it sounds like
once a day for a week, although other possibities cannot be ruled out.
