Good suggestion!  Thank you.  I'd *really* like to buy a DVD burner. 
It doesn't help that I've been helping my boss' father with his
standalone DVD burner, which he's got hooked up to a multi-region VCR
(I still have a PAL tape I'd like converted - hm, wonder if I can use
it {g}).  First things first, I still have to get my editing computer
fixed.  That's $60 (with no guarantee that'd be the end all) but the
guy works in the evenings/weekends and comes to your home.

I'm a bit uncomfortable with dropping off the computer because I've
got gay pr0n galore... heh, right next to the Harry Potter videos. 
So, you can kinda see why I want to keep an eye on the computer.
