Thanks. {g} I've got two vid capture boards (DC30 and RT2500 - both
old/discontinued boards), which is partly why my PCs are always
missing a side panel because I swap the DC30 around.

The thing is getting the video quality right and dropped frames. Err,
I think audio is iffy--dunno because I frequently replace the audio
track with another file. I'd still like a DVD burner (some good ones
exist for less than $100) for data but I'm also wondering if a DVD
recorder might be easier for transferring over old tapes. First, I'll
try out the DVD burner. My DC30 card can capture about 5-6 minutes
and it hogs up 600+megs for a fullscreen output on TV.

At this point, cha-ching cha-ching on the expenses. :-\ I don't even
have a working CD burner. I only have a working floppy and zip drive,
along with the hard drive on this computer. Since it's Win98SE, it
doesn't like USB 2.0 drives--I've tried.

Dina
