Overstock.com?

I'd use Overstock.com with caution. 

A few months ago, I ordered a few cd's from them. When
the package arrived, it was one disc short, and there
was no mention of backorders, etc. on the invoice. I
called them, and they sent the missing disc right
away.

My partner's sister bought him the complete series
"The Office" on dvd for Christmas. When he opened it,
one of the discs was missing from the set. This wasn't
Overstock.com's fault, apperantly some had been
packaged like that by mistake. What WAS their fault,
however, was waiting 2 months before issuing a return
shipment authorization, even though my partner's
sister had been calling them  weekly.

So, sometimes spotty customer service, sometimes
spotty order fullfilment. Would I use them again?
Probably, if their prices were significantly better
than other places.

And while I'm on the subject, avoid Buy.com like the
horid plague it is!

Has anyone ordered anything from
Overstock.com and if so what did you
think of them?  I'm a bit leery
considering their website, over half
the images don't work and they can't
even put the correct authors to the
