Hey Saitaina...I am a long-time user of Overstock.com...
I only have one complaint - you do have to look at the fine print
very carefully....otherwise, I think they are a great site!
Everyone should know (by now, I hope) that you should use a credit
card on the web - especially one that has protection - protection
for you if what you have ordered is not what you thought it was.
(there are certain companies that will not help you to get your
money back - so be careful!)
Otherwise, I think that site is great! I've bought my sheet sets
there - 600+ thread count - goes for about $400 here, got them for
under $100 (and they are the EXACT same sheet set!). I also buy a
lot of jewerly for the grandparents there...where else can you get
the pearl earrings for someone who has everything else in life? I
also buy the kids' CD's and DVD's there and all of their
linens...it's amazing how, in the past year, I would guess I have
saved close to almost $1000! (as opposed to shopping here locally!)
And don't even get me started on Christmas!!! :)
I, with personal experience, find that site trustworthy. It's the
people out there who hack and scam that you have to watch out
for...thus the warning about using only a credit card on the
web...even when using paypal - use a credit card with protection!
Good luck - and remember - they have a money back policy...even
though I've never had to use it, they do promise your money back if
you don't like what you got. And when they send your package, they
automatically include a return label - all you have to do is call
the number on the slip, tell them you are returning it, they give
you a RMA number....put the label on the box after taping it up, and
that's it!
