I've had this same wish for ages! I know she loves to interact with
the kids, but I think Jo would like a nice adult discussion, too.

I think our best bet would be to go through Steve Vander Ark; perhaps
another open letter some time after HBP has been out a while.

There are other possibilities, depending on how much work people may
be available to do.

Instead of a chat, we might begin collecting questions (in a separate
HPfGU group?) which volunteers would sort through and refine into the
best questions. It'd be labor-intensive, but worth it, and I bet
people would be willing.

Then Jo could answer them at her leisure. Depending how into it she
is, her answers might easily get as long as, say, Fantastic Beasts or
Quidditch through the Ages? Could be another charity book, if Jo
likes. If not, she can just email them back to be posted on the
Lexicon and/or HPfGU.

This might get us more detailed and thorough answers than just a chat.
Of course, a follow-up chat after that would be even better!

I know, I know, I'm dreaming, but...

Steve, Penny, Belinda, anybody, are you reading this? Can we? Please?

who will throw herself off a nearby cliff if the final HP chat
includes the question "How did you get the idea for Harry Potter?"
