Yes, it seems somehow appropriate to me for any group that doesn't 
seem to know what is going on in a particular field.

http://www.hoagiesgifted.org/pg_cult.htm might amuse some people.

PG - in the sense of that page - refers to 'profoundly gifted' - this 
is not just the ordinary areas of the gifted community but the much 
more out there areas. This page is just a bit of fun - and a lot of 
what is on there, is just general 'nerd-type' questions.
