Deb here:
 They will show as READ (change color) if you use your back button 
and go back to the message list. But it does not show READ (change 
color) if you go from message to message .... sigh this change I DO 
NOT LIKE!!! Too much extra clicking for these old fingers.

I agree with you Steve.
