Barb now:
Violet Crumbles are pure heaven. They are a milk chocolate-covered
honeycomb candy- a candy bar. Vegemite is awful, in my opinion. It is
a dark brown (almost black) paste-I believe it is made from brewer's
yeast extract. I need to leave the room when the jar is opened,
because the smell is so strong. My dad generally spreads it thinly on
toast. I believe it is called Marmite in the UK. Pavlova is a meringue
dessert that I haven't had in probably 20 years. I'm sure it can be
made from scratch, but I remember buying a Pavlova kit (in an egg-
shaped container) at a high-end grocery store when I was in elementary
school-my mom and I made it for my girl scout troop. We decorated it
with fresh fruit and whipped cream, but I don't know if that's
typical, or just what we liked.
