I was raised by a Japanese Buddhist... Heh, she saw this article on
Orlando Bloom since the same Buddhist division and she thought to give
the article to me. Aww, nice pictures. Then I started reading it and
oookay... Bloom composed a message that he hand delivered during a
trip to Japan (several weeks back) where he wrote (just one line as an
example): "With kosen-rufu as my goal, I will climb the mountainous
path of the Mystic Law until I gaze from the peak." Pretty much the
rest was along that vein.

Anyway, grew up with that 'world peace' and 'inner enlightenment'
mom... and I'm not even certain she knows what porn means - lost in
translation somewhere. I'm in my late twenties and I didn't get a
computer until I could afford to pay it in full and all internet
costs--parents believed it my taking responsibility and there was a
good library, so I couldn't use a 'pity me' for not having a computer
for school angle (still achieved honors, advanced placement and
multiple scholarships without much assistance from a computer). I
bought my first computer Dec 1995 and graduated the summer of 1996. I
already picked up much info from fellow classmates about how to squick
your friends with sexual kinks. {g} The computer helped with visuals
versus the discussed 'theory'. {chuckle}

Personally, I think a parent's job is to give/teach their children survival.
