It's funny, I was in high school in the early 80s, and we had two
Apple II computers in the entire school.
I managed to operate one about once.
My first machine was an Amstrad CPC 6128, which was an 8-bit machine
I got this for my 21st birthday... while it was ok, it could only
play some games really.
Then I went to Amiga and then to PC etc etc etc.
First used the internet around the mid 90s and have been with it
ever since.
and you know, people are saying we're using cutting edge technology
but we've got a long long way to go with technology.
I am picturing this scenario.
A child in Sydney has a friend in New York and another in Tokyo.
They see each other via their sunglasses, the friends appear to be in
the same room together.
There are no clunky lcd screens, or weird bulky parts.
the glasses look no different from a pair of Ray-Bans.
The entire computer and wireless connection are in the frames of
the glasses, no other components are required.
Nobody works in an office anymore, they can be home, or in the
park, and they are always in touch with others.
