Once again I have been browsing London Real Estate and spending the
Lottery money I haven't won yet.

Tonight I was primarily looking the the Fullham and Battlesea areas.

A typical nice but not great London Flat 600 to 1,000 square feet is
about £350,000 or about US$690,000. Keep in mind this is for a small
but reasonably nice 2 bedroom apartment. (convertion rate 1.97)

Houses in the same area were in the £500,000 to £1,000,000 for some
relatively nice houses. I saw a few I wouldn't mind having.
(US$985,000 to US$1,970,000).

Though I saw a REALLY nice Row House, absolutely first rate for a mere
US$7,000,000. Of course, if I win the lottery, $7,000,000 for a
vacation home in London is nothing. The mortgage payments on this
place are just under $40,000/mo.

I did see a really nice flat near Battersea Park on Battersea Park
road for a mere £310,000. (US$$611,000). Within easy walking distance
of the 200 acre Battersea Park which is right on the Thames River, and
reasonable walking distance (though a bit long) to Hyde Park, St.
James Park, and New Covent Garden Market.

Also, you can rent Flats, furnished and unfurnished, for about £300 to
£500 pounds. That seem fair. (US$600 to $1,000 per month)

It's all just for fun.
