And don't forget the fairly recent (last 10 years) PBS/BBC? series 
of David Copperfield with Daniel Radcliffe as young David!

-Celia, whose favorite-books-in-the-world list includes Dickens' 
"Bleak House," but who also loves "David Copperfield," just a 
little less, and is happy that JKR referenced DIckens...a great 
match for her success, in many ways.
