This might be true, but since I don't pay attention to that sort of
thing, I can't tell.
In any case, the deluxe edition is only marginally different from the
standard hardbound. In the back of the book, there are larger
renditions of the chapter art with an excerpted sentence from said
chapter - was this in standard hardbound versions? I don't think so
but can't recall exactly; there is also a hard enclosure in which the
hardbound book resides. For book 6, the enclosure featured the
picture on the dust jacket and a copy of JKR's signature on the top
flap. In short, the differences are largly superficial, leaving it up
to you to decide if those differences are worth the extra $20.
