Yup, you're at the right place. Welcome - here, have a butterbeer.

Personally speaking, I've been working my way through the works of two
particular authors right now. Very slow progress <g> but I'm working on
reading Lois McMaster Bujold and Orson Scott Card. Are you asking because
you are looking for recommendations? For yourself or for others?
If you are looking for recommendations, we could use more details. Just
what about HP really keeps your attention?
For example, I would hesitate to recommend "Shards of Honor" by Bujold to
the youngest segments of the HP fandom - how would you explain Vorrutyer to
a 10-year old?! But such youngsters may really enjoy Eva Ibbotson's works.
If you like HP for the characterizations and the element of magic, you
might really like Card's Tales of Alvin Maker series (I found the first 3
more absorbing than the latter 3 - anyone else?). But if it's the
Anglophile in you that loves HP, Alvin's adventures in
alternative-history-of-American-frontier won't do. See?
