Sheryll:
I didn't have time to reply before this, so very sorry
for the delay.
We held the event yesterday afternoon at the store. It
wasn't really well attended, though a lot of blame for
that goes to the dismal downpour we had yesterday.
Still, we had way more kids than usual for a Wednesday
afternoon and lots of fun was had. I gave out some HP
stickers to participants and we held a draw for 2
movies, 1 PS and 1 GoF.
I want to thank everyone for all their suggestions,
they were very helpful. It turns out that most of the
questions that I had done *were* too hard for the
younger kids. With your advice and help from my
equally HP-obsessed daughter I managed to get a good
list together of suitable questions.
Thanks so much for all the help!
Oh, and one of our regular customers came in just near
the tail end of the event. There weren't any kids in
the store at that moment and I was doing regular
afternoon tasks, still wearing the hat and robe. He
looks at me and says. "It's a little early for
Hallowe'en, isn't it?". I looked at him, laughed and
said, "Well, you have get a jump start on things if
you want to get the really *good* candy before it's
gone.". He laughed. :)
