I am going to join Goddlefrood and Carol on this one. I belong to a couple of
different book clubs and have at least a hundred unread books stacked
everywhere. Harry Potter was a fluke in my life that has consumed several years of
it. I have to say that I am sorry to see it ending, but on the other hand it
will be nice to get back to my regular reading.
BTW, Carol, I am currently reading Jane Austen's Mansfield Park. I got it
from the book club recently and had never read it, so I couldn't resist. It is
putting me behind on rereading the HP books on time to go from HBP to DH but I
will just skip OOP if I have to. It won't be too much of a sacrifice since it
is my least favorite, and it will save me from throwing the book several times
as I have done every time I have read it.
I also hope that HPfGU endures for years to come. I'm not sure which is more
fascinating; the HP books or the group members spin on them.
Sandy
