Sandy responds:

Since I am not enamored with Snape, don't like him at all in fact, I can live
without all of that. I totally agree about the battle at the DoM, very
confusing and hard to follow. I couldn't visualize it at all, and I visualize fairly
well. I am quite enjoying "Mansfield Park" although I will admit that it
isn't "Pride and Prejudice". Unfortunately, I don't have as much time to read as I
would like, and the older I get the slower I read. Actually, more than my
age; I was critically injured in an accident 3 1/2 years ago and suffered a
pretty serious head injury, and my memory and ability to absorb things has been
affected by it. It has slowed my ability to read considerably, which I just hate
because I have always been such a bookworm. Yes, when I am reading Umbridge,
my teeth clench and my stomach knots and it gets to the point where I just
can't take it anymore. Since she is in 2/3 of the book it is a little hard to skim
over her. I have no objection to the length of OOP, it's the contents I don't
like. I hope DH is every bit as long as OOP.

Sandy, who hated OOP the first time I read it, swore I would never read it
again, read it again anyway, and didn't like it any better. But, if I have time,
I will read it again before DH, and will definitely read HBP.
