Sorry for the belated response. Obviously, I'm not a Brit, but I do
know that one of the most famous books set in Yorkshire is "Wuthering
Heights. I finally got around to checking out the IMDb, and, sure
enough, the most recent film version (1992) is set there:

You can click on the links to find other films that use the same
locations.
Carol, wondering whether anyone has seen this version of WH, which
stars Ralph Fiennes (yes, Voldemort himself) as Heathcliff, and
whether it's any good
