Oh, I don't think reliability is a requirement. I've just remembered 
that I once read a pretty reliable historically pro-Lancastrian 
novel – Heyer's My Lord John. But I couldn't finish it because it was 
almost impossible to get past all those "in sooth", "by troth" 
and "unbosom, Harry".
