Goddlefrood:

It's just a slang term, not sure about the etymology. There are
also baps, sarnies and many more, all regional variations on the
humble sandwich.

> Carol:
> I don't know anyone who has a Dutch oven,

Goddlefrood:

Nor do I as it happens, I just copied that from the brown
Sauce site referred to earlier. A covered saucepan would
probably suffice - it is a sauce after all.

> Carol, wondering whether Goddlefrood has tried her recipe for
> American biscuits yet (and you thought that I'd forgotten!)

Goddlefrood:

Oh no, I thought you would remember. Unfortunately I haven't had
a chance to do it. There is a long weekend on the near horizon so
I may try it then. I haven't lost the recipe, btw.
