Redemption of Anakin and other redemption stories (moved from Main)

Exactly.  Could Anakin have without Luke right there in his face?  Could he have gone against the Emperor alone?  No. He was saved by Luke's nigh sacrifice.

Going back to Avatar... Zuko is alone when he faces the Fire Lord.  He is not the boy he was; he is redeemed.
