I kind of meant they are too different from us, that's why it creeps me out :-). But yes, they are different from other literary vampires, and honestly, I liked that. If they were sleeping in coffins and running away from garlic, I'm not sure I could have gotten to the end of the story :-).

I never watched Buffy :-). Did Angel or Spike sleep in coffins :-)? I've always found sleeping in coffins silly, although I read only one other book about vampires - "Interview with the Vampire". I'm not much into it...
