LOL! But no, in the Lovegood family the Dirigible Plums are supposed to be not eaten, but worn somewhere close to the head (instead of earrings, for example), which Luna often does. According to Xeno, they give the wearer the ability to accept everything that is out of the ordinary... . I hope you feel better soon, Carol :-).
