A couple of things I missed addressing.

Denmark still has a monarchy (one that gets almost as much public 
attention in Australia now as our own monarchy because the Crown 
Princess was born in Australia). Denmark is currently ruled by Queen 
Margrethe II. The Greek Monarchy was abolished in 1973, but King 
Constantine II never abdicated and he still calls himself King although 
he accepts that if the people of Greece want to be a republic, they have 
that right (and he is still a Prince of Denmark). He lives in London, 
and diplomatically speaking is still treated as Royal - and is actually 
one of Prince William's Godfathers (Princes get more than one - William 
wound up with three Godfathers and three Godmothers).
