[HPFGU-OTChatter] Other books like the Harry Potter series books?

| Just wondering since this wonderful series is over in both books and 
| movies is there another series like this or has magic in that I might 
| like to check out? OR any books that I might could check out 
| and see what I like?

[Lee]:
Personally, I love the Diane Duane "Young Wizard" series.  It's a different
kind of magic, takes the reader to other worlds and introduces other
intelligent beings who are wizards, etc.  The books follow very closely on
one another and you get to see the characters grow older, meet their
families, experience their griefs and see them deal with real-life, everyday
problems as well as other more sinister things.

Of course, there are the Narnia books, too.  And I look forward to see what
others recommend.
