Weeks ago I posted on the OT Chatter list that I was going to join the
Texas group right then. The only problem was that when I started
looking for the group, I couldn't find it. I went to the main Yahoo
groups page and searched to no avail. I glad that someone posted the
links to the different regional groups to the OT Chatter list.
I read through the most recent posts on this list and realized that no
one has posted since August. I hope someone checks in occasionally,
because I would love to get together at some point. My daughter,
Marcia, who is a senior in high school and I had planned to get out of
school early on the 16th so that we could see the first showing in
Kerrville. Who knows my husband, Marvin, might even take off early
that day to see it with us. He has also read all of the books
(although just once).
I drove all the way to San Antonio today thinking that I could find
the October issue of Vanity Fair. What a disappointment when I got to
Barnes and Noble and found the September issue. I am scared to death
that they will sell out of the October issue before I can get back to
San Antonio. I couldn't even find an old issue in Junction or
Kerrville.
I will check back to see if any of you have had better luck with
finding VF.
I'm so glad to have found my HP neighbors.
