I watch alot of A&E Brit Mysteries and PBS Brit stuff, and I really
think they should cast British kids for this. There are plenty of fine
actors there and since it is a British story it only makes sense to do
it the right way. Voice coaches or not, accents are never pulled off by
us yanks, well other than Gwynyth who thinks she's British anyway. LOL
It makes no difference if they get a 'big name' cast or not, with the
popularity of these books kids will flock to see it even if the have
Wishbone the Dog do it.
Here's my wish list for the cast:
Tim Curry as Snape!!!!!
Robbie Coltrane as Dursley
Anthony Hopkins as Dumbledore (not sure if he's Brit or not but he could
pull it off)
Helen Mirren as McGonagall
Brenda Blethen as Mrs. Weasley

If I think of more, I'll let ya know.
