his Death Eaters and who has been loyal to him. HE states "One, who
I believe has left me forever...he will be killed of course" Now is
he talking about Snape, or is it someone else. I figured the one too
cowardly to return is Karkaroff, but I wasn't sure about the other one.

When I finished GoF, I figured that the one who has left him forever
'he will be killed' is Snape, the one too cowardly to return 'he will
be punished' is Karkaroff, and the one who is doing Voldemort's work at
Hogwart's was Croody/Mouch.

But when I first reached that scene, having no clue that Moody wasn't
really Moody, I had thought that *SNAPE* might be the one doing V's work
at Hogwart's!
