You are indeed a wise woman. A truly exceptional post.

I'm not sure, though, your comments will apply to Harry. There's a
different dynamic for him. He is the Hero, the one who suffers and is
consumed by the task he did not want. I'm afraid he will be called on
to give up a great deal. [I keep comparing Harry in my mind to Frodo,
the ordinary being who had to push himself beyond all his limits. In
the end, he didn't get to fully share in the joys of his victory].

I'm going to read Joseph Campbell again.
