I also wondered if the NYT Bestseller folks got pressure from the
superstores (Borders, B&N) that typically sell NYT Best Sellers for 40%
off and who are, as a result, making very little money off of the Harry
Potter craze.

It'll be interesting to see if these 40% off deals will extend to titles
on the NYT Children's Best Seller list, too. (I doubt they will.)
