Wow.. I thought I was one of the only ones who would miss dear oliver,
but I guess we all subconsiously become attached to side characters
without even knowing it. I guess they're sort of constants, things that
you expect to be there and stay the same... and when they disappear you
feel some sort of a loss inside huh?
About the ages, JK never really goes out and says exactly what year the
twins or Percy are in.
I don't know, I think we will only know for sure when the fourth book
comes out because if Percy is still there we know what year he's in and
what year the twins are in.
About the invisibility cloak, I never even thought about why Dumbledore
would have James' cloak in his posession. I guess it depends on how he
got it from James. I could be that James left it in his will, or james
gave it directly to him. Or, Dumbledore might have confiscated it from
him one day, You never know.
But it is an interesting point to think about... what role does Dumbledore
really have in this book? He's seems like just a guide to help Harry
along but I can't help but wondering if Dumbledore is more involved in
this than is presented to us now.
Another thing... did you guys notice that in book 2 Hermione mentions
that Moaning Myrtle haunts the first floor bath room but when harry
follows the disembodied voice and finds petrified Ms. Norris they are
on the second floor. Supposedly Moaning Myrtle flooded the bathroom and
that's why Ms.Norris was saved from being killed and only petrified. So
what floor is her bathroom on?
