I thought they used customary (I mean, it is called the English system)
in the UK too. I could be wrong; maybe they decided to join the metric
bandwagon. Us Americans only use metric when buying bottled soda, and I
don't see that changing in the near future. I refuse to buy gas in liters.
Non-Harry Potter question: How does Congress plan to give us "family
values" when it couldn't even get us to measure in centimeters?
