I have not finished GOF yet ... and I don't have my copy with me right now
.. but I seem to remember that there were at least a couple of phrases
that were not Americanized (but that could have been). I'll have to look
back and see if I can find specific references when I get home.

Frankly, I'm glad that at least some British phrases and usages were left
alone. I am not a fan of Americanizing these books or any others. American
readers ... both young and old ... are capable of understanding British
phrases and terminology.

(Of course, having said all this, I'm not going to be able to find a
single reference in GOF and you'll all write me off as a crackpot!)
