First Editions

Hi all

Does anyone know how many First Editions were printed by Bloomsbury (UK)
and the other publishers around the world?

The copy of GoF I picked up from WHSmith at Kings Cross, was a First
Edition. The copy I got from WHSmith at Reading was a First Edition. The
copy I got from WHSmith Online was a First Edition - but the copy I got
direct from Bloomsbury was a 2nd Edition.

So... looks like the publishers are already on to second edition print
run already.

If you have the UK version of the book - do you have a First edition,
or another edition?
(You can check by looking at the Copyright Page. This time Bloomsbury
have printed the words FIRST EDITION if it's from the first print run. If
it does not have this, it will have a series of numbers which indicate
the printing batch.

How about you lot in the US... how are the Scholastic editions marked -
do you have a First edition, or second edition printing. Do you know
how many where printed as First Editions?

What about other countries - Philipines for example (great to know the
books came out over there at the same time).
