To kick off our Chapter 1 discussions, I have summarized Chapter 1 below
-- I have written the summary with knowledge of the entire book (and

This might be the case but as I remember Crouch says that he had to kill
him because he turned up. Also in the second 'dream' Harry has (I think
this is right) Voldemort says that Wormtail has messed up. This would
suggest that he let Crouch sr. get away.
