>>>>>2. How can we think it was the Avada curse which Voldemort did
against Harry & Parents, when it also destroyed the house, whereas on
the other occasions when it's been done (to the Riddles & to the spider)
it didn't cause any damage to the surrounding stuff? <<<<<

Harry remembers the green light which is characteristic of the
curse. Plus, it's the quickest, neatest way to eliminate a person --
Voldemort already used it on his father & grandparents. I think the
destruction of the house had to do with the effect of the Avada Kedavra
curse rebounding onto Voldemort - remember it actually destroyed his body.

Speaking of rebounds, Harry ought to work on figuring a way to transform
a ring or bracelet into a mirrored shield to reflect curses -- just shout
the magic word DEFLECTO!! and it bounces back onto the perpetrator....

Coming soon: "Harry Potter and the Enchanted Brothel"
-- in which Harry 'becomes a man', and later on saves Hermione from a
life of degradation with the help of Winky, the House Elf of Ill Repute.
