Erm...someone is suing Rowling over the use of a word? She wouldn't
happen to be American or anything would she?
Anyway, if Neil Gaiman isn't suing her, nobody should! I mean, he
practically drew the blueprint of Harry Potter. If you hadn't heard,
here's the story: Gaiman (creator of the sandman series) did a cartoon
called the Books of Magic, in which there is a young British boy,
complete with black hair, green eyes and glasses, who suddenly finds
out that he has the potential to become the most powerfull wizard the
world has ever seen. Sound familiar?
I have to admit I haven't actually read it, but one of my friends saw
it in a shop the other day and asked me if Harry Potter had become a
cartoon already! Besides I've heard it tons of places. I don't want
Rowling to be sued...I hope she wins the case. She probably will.

P.S. Gaiman was asked why he didn't sue her and he said that he liked
the Potter stories too much. Besides he thought that besides the main
character the plot and the other characters were to different from his
version. Decent guy.
