<<I have backed up ALL e-mail messages I have, and if anmyone is
interested in a 2.70Mb .txt file, or a 478kb .zip file of all of the
messages>>

That's useful to know, and it reminds me of the discussion we had about
reading messages in the club vs reading them via e-mail.

I still prefer visiting this club online, but a couple of things have
been raised that I hadn't thought about: -

1. People can read e-mail messages offline. Reading them online runs up
my phone bill, which is already massive.

2. People can use search facilities on their e-mail to identify past
messages (ably demonstrated by Nicholas).

On the latter point, I think it was Dave H who bemoaned the lack of
a search facility in the club environment? I wrote to Yahoo recently,
and that was one of the things I suggested. They replied that many of
the features we use now were originally suggested by users, and they
welcome suggestions, so perhaps they will add that feature one day.
