Hmm...no prizes for guessing where THOSE books were set. Prydain is
another name for Britain, as in the pre-Saxon Britain, where everyone had
dark hair and dark eyes, and which got rather ravaged by some invading
Teutons. King Arthur probably called it Prydain.

The reason I know this is because I went to school about five miles from
Camelot (okay, one of the Camelots, in South Cadbury, Somerset).
